Fairmont Environmental Committees at each hotel compete for the prestigious ‘Environmental Hotel of the Year’ title. The hotel that completes the highest number of environmental initiatives in one year receives a one-week, all expenses paid eco-exchange trip for its committee members.

Our Environmental Committee at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is continually working on ways that we can make our environment and the way we work greener for the future. Recent JPL initiatives include lug-a-mug, bring your own bag, puff it 'n stuff it, biodegradable take out containers and hanger & bottle drive.
